make minor mode
I want to make a minor mode that

* is activated in org mode

Then I want to

* create a function which checks if minor mode is activated. If activated, then do something

Maybe simple to implement but not sure how to start

mu4e, get password from external programm (pass)
The title says it all basically. When I compose a mail, I'd like /not/ to be asked for the password in emacs' own prompt, but I'd like pass $mailserver to be called, which then returns the password.

Is this possible?

How to view org-pomodoro log?
I really like org-pomodoro. I can clock-in and clock-out to record how much time I spend on a task, but I don't know how to get my Pomo log or create function to get Pomo log.

I have idea using hook to save current clocked in task to a file. But I don't know how to get the current task name.

Is that even possible to view pomodoro log ba…

Remapping keys on your linux is a "normal" thing to do amongst hardcore vim or emacs users.

The most standard hack is to remap CapsLock to Escape or to Ctrl.

And with emacs' key-chord ( github.com/emacsorphanage/key- ) and key-seq ( github.com/vlevit/key-seq.el ) plugins, you can have really fancy combo…

How did you learn magit?
I've attempted to try to use magit a few times but always quickly revert back to the git command line because I already know how to use it. How do I force myself to use magit and learn it properly?

My First package: ecloud. A magit-style interface to access Azure, AWS and GCP.
Hey fellow emacsers,

This is my stab at writing my first package. Before writing this package, i have no idea how to write elisp code.

This package is called ecloud. This is a magit style interface to access Azure, AWS and GCP. The project is very much at its infancy. Have added support …

ReactJS w/Jest Config
tl;dr: anyone have a sweet setup for ReactJS (preferably using ts) with the ability to quickly run tests via Jest?

I've been trying to switch to emacs for a while now with Scala development and it's just not been a good experience mainly due to solid support for things I'm needing like auto complete.
